Laptop Safety Rules
Parents, please remind your students of the following safety rules regarding JP Schools laptops:
Never carry a laptop by the screen.
Never eat or drink while using a laptop.
Do not let someone borrow their laptop.
Do not personalize the laptop with stickers, etc. It belongs to JP, not the student.
Place the laptop squarely on the desk. Do not allow part of it to stick over the edge. This accounted for many broken laptops last year.
Put a sign on the front door or set an alarm to remind them to bring their fully charged laptop and charger to school.
Do not carry an open laptop from class to class. Close it and put it in its case first.
Put up the charger. Do not allow it to drag on the ground.
Keep the laptop and charger away from pets.
